Egle Januleviciute enjoys an active performance career as soloist and collaborative artist, and has concertized in Belgium, Italy, Finland, Germany, Italy, Japan, Lithuania and the former Soviet Union. She has performed throughout the United States as pianist with the flute duo “Zawa!” in concert tours, festivals and national flute conventions. In addition to frequent appearances as soloist with the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra under the baton of Saulius Sondeckis, she has recorded extensively for Lithuanian TV and Radio. Her international awards include the Diploma in the Ciurlionis International Piano Competition and the Premiere Prix Concert Recital Diploma, Guildhall School, London; in the U.S., she was awarded First Prize in the Young Keyboard Artists Association International Piano Competition, and was prizewinner in the Robert Casadesus international Piano Competition.
Possessed of a solid academic background as well, Dr. Januleviciute received her Diploma with Honors in Piano Performance from the Lithuanian Academy of Music, her Master of Music in Piano Performance from Bowling Green State University, and her Doctor of Musical Arts Degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara. An experienced teacher and coach, she has served on the Keyboard Faculties of the Academy of Music of Lithuania, University of California Santa Barbara, and Westmont College, Santa Barbara.
